Four Private Yoga Therapy Immersive Sessions
Service Description
A highly individualized, collaborative approach to navigating pain, stress, injury recovery, life transitions, and complex or ongoing health considerations. Yoga Therapy is rooted in traditional practices and informed by Western medicine and neuroscience research. In addressing overall health, Yoga Therapy supports the whole person – body, breath, nervous system, and daily habits – to foster meaningful, sustainable change over time. The Immersive Series includes: - Completion of the online intake form before our first session - Initial Intake session: a 90-minute private yoga therapy session tailored to your goals and needs (review the intake form, discuss specific health concerns and goals for yoga therapy, and conduct postural and breath assessments; therapeutic yoga practice). - Three follow-up sessions (60 minutes each): check-in; time for questions and clarifications; therapeutic yoga practice. - Personalized home practices to support progress between sessions. - Personal support available between sessions. - Scheduled weekly or every other week. These sessions may be helpful for those looking to: - Begin or refresh a home movement/yoga/meditation practice - Supplement therapy or other healing modalities - Develop skills for being present - Develop tools for nervous system regulation and stress management - Increase capacity for listening to and responding to the body's needs - Relearn how to restore, rejuvenate, and recharge
